Day 4 - where are the boys?

It’s another beautiful day in FL with some overcast, which will help a little with sun burns.  The forecast is for a 76 degree day, so perfect for pool, beach, etc.  Tonight will be pizza night, so thank you to the Evan family in advance!!

9:45 breakfast (a little later than the last two days) and pretty quiet from the boys rooms. No injuries or trouble to start the day with. Awesome!! 11:00 a.m. and still no sounds from the boys rooms. I guess that 1:30 a.m. noise last night was them still up.

Yes, we are actually in Clearwater Beach, FL

Jeff, Janie, Haley and Drake did not see the boys until 3 p.m. today.  They did venture out around lunch time to get a bite to eat, but no hurry to get down to the beach.  Volleyball started and Jeff joined.  After a bit the girls showed up.  After 3 games some of the boys tried out the ocean.  Logan, Jeff took on John and Kyle for a 2 vs. 2 volleyball match.

Then everyone did their thing until around 6:30. The boys decided they wanted to have pizza delivered, so we ordered up 4 pizzas from Angelo’s delivered right to the rooms.  The boys worked on the brackets for the basketball tourney and were very excited to see how the teams were ranked.   Ah such the life.  Thank you Evan's for the pizza night.

Drake, Haley, Jeff and Janie headed up the street to Clear Sky for dinner since the boys decided to stay in for pizza.  Since it was St. Patrick’s day Janie and Jeff ordered corn beef and cabbage.  Very good!

Then on the way home we stopped in to purchase a couple of cigars for beach time when we got back.  The purchase was interrupted by a text from Logan that we need to get back to talk to the hotel manager and security.

We found the boys in the hallway, some ready to head to the hot tub and a few others with sheepish grins.  Turns out an ice cream cone fell (dropped) from their balcony onto a car in the parking lot.  So we asked for cleaning supplies and had the 5 boys in question head down to clean up.  Jeff gave them a lecture on being more careful and watching each other for doing stupid $@)*@)*$).  Only a couple more days don’t ruin the trip with stupid thinking.

The boys then hit the hot tub, while we sat on the beach and enjoyed the peaceful evening.  Janie of course could not resist on our way in stopping by the hot tub for pictures.  Need we say more!

Not sure when the boys got in, however they all seemed to be up for breakfast this morning.  Overcast again today, but should be a another great day.  Only one and half more days to go before departure time, so we’ll see how things go today.  All expectations they all make it through the entire trip with great memories.
